Dr. Charles R. Moore, leading innovator of Lasik surgery at International EyeCare Laser Center was the first physician in the country presented with the Global Ambassador Award by the German laser manufacturer, WaveLight, Inc.
A frequent speaker and published author on the topic of Lasik, Dr. Moore was one of the original investigators in the USFDA trials with the WaveLight Allegretto Wave excimer laser. Today he is one of the most experienced users of this state-of-the-art technology.
"Dr. Moore's support of WaveLight and the Allegretto Wave has been unrelenting" said Wade Tetsuka, president of U.S. operations for WaveLight. "He was instrumental in the FDA clinical trials and continues to be a key educator and expert reference to our newer users."
